What is the weight of a GT3071R?

Considering bringing one home in my hand bagage, but does anybody now what the weight is?

Can't seem to find the information on 034motorsport homepage.

I don't think they will allow a turbo as hand baggage

I just called British Airways and they said it was ok if it was within size and weight, but I will get that in writing before I attempt anything

I just aquired a K26/K27/K29 turbo, but I'm not sure if it in fact will be able to produce the power that I want. It seems to me that the cold side wheel is way to small to producere 430-450 HP. So the GT3071R is my back up plan

K27/K29 does 500 bhp AFAIK but I don't know what the K26/K27/K29 does. I'm sure Mihnea has posted about this turbo on this site.

K26/27/29 will do 430-480 HP depending on overall setup, but with approx 800 RPM later spoolup as the GT3071R does.

that old KKK turbo can reach 500hp,way more than the GT3071R, but at a cost. late spool time... expect it around 4500rpm.

the K26 usually is the #8 in that turbo rather than the #6

Well my K26/K27/K29 has the #6 housing as far as I can see.

Just be sure not to put a 'hydraulic pressure accumulator' in your hand luggage either... They look scarey on the xray machine - like good old cartoon acme grenade !!!!!!
