    Replacement fuel pump

I have tried everything to get rid of the mid range stutter my car has, vacuum, ignition, etc. (No problems there although the odd knock sensor fault but that’s tomorrows job!) The only thing left is the fuel pump and I have had it on good authority, that I might not be getting enough fuel into the engine with the MTM map! As slow acceleration it’s quite rapid but on WOT and 2/3 throttle it stutters!

What would be a good replacement ‘New’ fuel pump and I suppose regulator, to replace one that’s done “114000” miles? (UK supplier if possible!)

Now that the exhaust is done, if you exclude the suspension and other bushes I will get replaced, this is the last issue to sort!

    Many thanks once again,

    Andy.

This isn't a bad price if nobody else bids, a std pump from GSF or Euro Car Parts is around £65 so worth paying the extra for an 044. Having said that a std fuel pump should be more than up to supplying enough fuel for an MTM chip, if it's in good order.

Have you tried changing the fuel filter?

Many thanks for the info, I will fit a genuine Audi fuel filter too. Is there anything else that should be replaced in the fuel system while I am at it?

What differences in the specifications for an original new (Mine must be tired at 117000 miles!) Ur S6 fuel pump, when compared to the 044 data that has been kindly supplied. (Many thanks Erro404)

                  Cheers,

                  Andy.
