Step 1 - get a catch tank... nicely baffled to promote separation of oil

Step 2 - make two inlets on the catch tank... one from crankcase, one from the head

Step 3 - make one outlet from catch tank - either to atmosphere or to MAF hose (always in vacuum)

    Other enhancements are possible...

A - Modify EVAP system to vent treated fumes to atmosphere & block EVAP port into throttle body

B - Modify catch tank to return any collected oil to the sump - must go below 'tide' level
Is it really wise to return the oil to the tank? I mean honestly if it is really cold outside and you have some blow by gas it could condensate to water/oil mixture which would be really bad to have in the sump?

Why dont you just hook it up like this? I'm running 1.8 bar and have been doing this for several years without any problems at all.

so jonas you have gotten rid of the PCV valve completelly, as well as the N80 valve?

Sorry guys if im complicating things, but from older threads the current setup since cleaned and checked with all valves new, should have worked, according to newsh and paul's guide. It didn't.

i will first try out connecting the camcase to the tank and venting to MAF with all valves untouched. if it still leaks, then i will have to go to Jonas's option.

So using the existing tubes, this should work.

By the way if i knew all the answers i wouldnt be asking them around here.I thought this was one of the purposes of these forums. Not everything is crystal clear to everyone and when explanations are given, everyone assumes that you are at least moderetally inclined in mechanics...wrong assumption

The N80 valve is the evap solenoid right? Then no I still have the Evap valve, but I have removed the hose and check valve. And instead I have installed a hose that goes directly from the evap valve and on the IM.

i see,so the evap(N80) still vents fuel fumes but directly to the IM whenever the N80 is operating to do so(in which case on vems it is on overrun only). that is good.
i will try that as well

as of yesterday i noticed that the system that i have connected, regardless of the drain to sump, still produces enough blowby to bring a lot of that in the turbo inlet and mess the airfilter.

So next thing before i get new size hoses to use the provent bottles is to try venting to atmosphere as Jonas has done before.

hopefully it should work a bit better, at least not leaking into my N75 and filter area.

I will also have to recheck the OEM metal tubes of any blockage but i have cleaned those in the past as well....

The check valve in the inlet manifold is needed so that you don't boost your crankcase.
                When was your engine rebuilt?

Lots of blowby hints to a problem with piston rings - have you done a leakdown test?
Are you 100% sure that boost is not getting into the crankcase?

I have seen quite a few cars now that run high boost, and I did not notice any issues on them with the stock system, if the engine was properly rebuilt.
Going from 1.4 bar to 1.9 bar boost does not affect peak cylinder pressure so much that you'd have it blowing out of your air filter! Sounds like something else is amiss.
