    Crankshaft locking tool

Where is the best / cheepest place to get a crankshaft locking tool? I remember seeing ones on ebay not so long ago and tbh i thought the price was a bit steep.

I'd make one but don't have access to a welder at home.
I'll try the dealer, do you have a part number? There will be no chance of getting it from my local Audi dealer without one. Last time i went into get parts i had to go arround the counter and find them myself as i left the part numbers in the house and he didn't have a clue!! Usless c#@ts

I used to have no problem there when (i forget his name) the big tall guy was there.
With out a word of a lie, i ordered and paied about 150 quids worth of parts 2 Wednesdays ago and was told they would be in on friday, went through to get them on monday after. Was told to "not in try back tomorrow" when i said you told me friday he replyed "try back tomorrow" to whitch i replyed to i stay 25 miles away could you give me a phone when they get in, if i'm not in leave a message on my answer phone. Was speaking to the wife last night and she said they hadn't phoned. I suspect the parts are in but too lazy to ring me.

I'm planning speaking to vw and seeing if they can order Audi bits for me, always got a great service from them

3256 does not fit the ABY/ADU with aircon. You will need the 2084 for that.

Dont need them with mine i just welded a long piece of round bar along the back of it so you can just leave it on the deck or get someone to hold it
