Have you checked for boost leaks? Particularly in the hose that goes from the WGFV to the waste gate.

well i made the changes to vems and performance has improved. the power must be betrer a sit feels stronger and cleaner. i left the ik24's in to try to get a good coil improvemen test.
the weather aint the best so hard to test but i managed to ramp boost in to a gate pressure of 1.35bar and basically hitting 1.5-1.55 bar around 4500. there is an undderlying misfire there still. only slight in comparison
car feels lots stronger. gonna need a mate now to either drive or help with feedback.
i will put the plugs in later then try those. its too late/not ready for teh rollers but the incentive to get there and help charity at the same time has had me pull my finger out this week.Comment

thanks for the offer Vas. a mate with good facilities - ramps etc will be helping. not sure if he is driving or sitting yet. he's a better driver than a mapper. well he's not a mapper but can build anything. he has a rally licence , a 997 c2s and is building a mk1 4x4 16vt at present. im gonna show him what a proper car is like . lol
with the onset of boost much faster and more the car is altogether quicker. not sure if it'll do what yours does at 2 bar compared with my 1.5 but i aim for 2 bar too. im pretty sure there was a car on here around 2 years ago that had the same turbo and made 530 or so at 1.7bar.Comment

i think that turbo should possibly be making more than mine at 1.5 bar, esp if you are going to give it a few extra degrees of advance. It has a 60mm compressor wheel and that is big!!!Comment

Well it seems the firmware i'm going to run is different to you guys in this respect Marc ( ever helpful ) has given me the settings I should be looking for with his HO kit

this guy does not describe the specific settings for the HO coils,but just what is needed to calculate where the max dwell time can be obtained.
i havent scoped my dwell times, but i will have a look and see on the 1.1.27 what is going on.
i calculated that if with the mapdwell of 10 you can get the +0.4ms @ 237kpa, with 5 you get it at 257kpa. so it is only a matter of testing where you get the misfires to decide how soon you need to have the added amount of dwell.

I have a set of the 034 coil packs and wiring kit if anyone is interested. PM me. Removed as i fitted the 1.8T units as they look better. The 1.8T kit runs fine at 450 ish bhp on LPG (GAS) on stock plugs and aan ecu. Just for info...Comment

well i have managed to dial in 1.75bar. its not done yet an in all honesty i need to restructure the tables and req_fuel now. ill start to write a new map.
im still trimming out fuel. the 044 is a lot stronger than the aby fish tank spesh. i can see its strength at a few rpm points. especially high up. i had 1.3 bar about spot on. its now slightly rich showing it was going full at 1.3 bar. every bit i trim out it picks up a little stronger.
if i can see 2 bar id think maybe thats towards the limits of a single 044.Comment
