Sorry I have not looked into emulators properly yet, no suggestions.

Idea is to use a real time eprom emulator (plugged into laptop) with trace to live map the car and then use an eprom burner to write the finished map to an eprom chip which is then put in the ecu.

Except in our case, there are two chips to be emulated at the same time.

Shouldn't be a problem for a beginner, eh, Paul and Mihnea?

      Piece of cake.

I am aware there are two chips, thank you anyway.

That is neither constructive nor helpful, if you have any useful input then please share?

Everyone has to start somewhere, if I don't try, I am not going to learn.

NO!you are not alowed to start! You need to be born with a aan map in your brain.
Of course we know that the 2 people mentioned above do maping.I am in progres of buying one.But i need to learn to make my own maps for my own internals. Is it a crime?
In Romania are aprox 10 aan engines,a fiew 3b and .Romania is a gereat market for new cars(was),nobody buys 1993 old ********(as they think) and who buys a old car(less money) buys a small engine, not biger than 2000 cmc.DO YOU THINK i am going to ruin mihneas business in selling cips to romania and east of europe?
If someone wants to help it is great.
Asking what is aspirin is normal.Taking it because the doctor says is not normal.

          So:
The emulator is abble to save a map in it(so it can be left in ecu without burning an eprom) or it can be used only to run the engine with a map with the computer pluged in,to test the map? There are 2 eproms.Who controls what?
Trying to find an AAN xdf file to see how it works in tunerpro. Can't find one.

Good find. This can probably be the basis to learn to program Audi Motronic as well. Good luck!
