WHP or CHP?
Are we talking about wheel horsepower or crank horsepower? Also, what fuel? 400 crank horsepower is no problem, IMO. 400 *wheel* horsepower on a 3071 on pump gas is a lot harder. In my opinion, it is not safe to take a 3071 to 400whp on pump gas. Race gas, sure, but pump gas thats really pushing it. Fully wrung out on race gas I was able to make 460whp on a 3071, for what its worth.Comment

Weird that some seem to have problems with the 034 3071 kits. I tested a S4 with it and recorded a best pull of 370whp. It was very unstable, however, so most of the pulls were sub 350whp. It was recently tested with the same setup on a Mustang dyno to the tune of 370whp. That tuner runs a standard 25% transmission loss correction, so it was declared 493hp at the flywheel.
This was the stage 1 setup, but had full 3" exhaust from the turbo, big IC, Wagner EVO manifold and 034 high output coils. I can't recall if it was running a manual boost controller.1995 RS2 on Alcohol (6.8sec 100-200km/h)

This is the dyno result of the 034MS high boost GT3071R chipset. The car has the 0.63AR turbo and a fully optimized engine (balanced, h-beam rods, flowed cyl head, full Wagner kit), 3B cams and a full 3" exhaust.Attached FilesComment

As discussed before: A correctly calibrated Superflow dyno will show moderate whp numbers, but the strange thing is how they manage to "find" a 14.5% drivetrain loss with quattro. That sure is an efficient 4wd setup on Brams car...
The whp figure might be correct with a chp figure that is too low. The chp figure might be pretty close, but then, the whp figure is off, and that is the only thing that is measured, so that throws everything off.1995 RS2 on Alcohol (6.8sec 100-200km/h)

turbo will do 450 but it's engine dependant.
