RS2 External Wastegate HELP

I`m really hoping one of you guys can advise me..


I have an s3 which has MTM conversion which uses a k26 hybrid and an external wastegate which is off an s2 (I think)

Part nmber 034 145 705b

Problem being the i need another due to it been stuck open.. called audi and quoted me £900..

Does anyone know where i can get maybe a second hand one or is there a repair kit??

Oh, and you cant do any harm opening it up to see how its stuck exactly, could just be the diaphragm has split?

Do not buy one from audi for £900! I bought one a while ago for £40 used. Im sure you will find one on here.

When we took top off there seemed alot of play in the shaft is this normal

Surely i am loosing boost pressure through it???

Its fairly normal, the pressure in the exhaust just after the turbo tends to balance it out Is it sticking open or closed? (too much boost or too little?) with extreme wear you can get the head of the valve hooking up on the side of the valve seat though which would be stuck open ..
