Right guys running about a week behind myself at the mo, got the Golf through its MOT now its full steam ahead on the Coupe, I've bolted most of it back together and been round the block, what a crazy amount of fun in the snow it is. MOT is now next friday so thanks for all the PM's reguarding parts from you all, I'll update this thread once I know more.

Its funny but I nearly bought this car, it was quite a surprise to see it in PPC. Hope all is heading in the right direction now.

Yes mate I read the email you sent to my house mate when it first appeared, amazingly small world. Hopefully it will fly through its MOT and i'll get another month of driving it before I head off.

Well it failed on a few things which I sort of expected, however all these are silly things like a couple of missing whell bolts. In fact the only thing I'll have to buy is a brake hose for the front for a fiver. So basically I've ordered that and will fit it next week and then go and pass the MOT. Any thoughts on how much I should be trying to get for it with a full MOT? Its still no minter but is well on its way and will be a great car for someone to finish off with little effort.

Well guys I finally got round to taking it back for its re-test and its passed. So looks like the Coupe has at least another year in it for someone. Thinking about just chucking it on eBay and seeing what happens, need to spend a bit of time cleaning it this weekend so watch this space and we'll see what I get for it. Thanks for your time guys and encouraging me to get it through the MOT.

please don't let it go to the usual breakers on ebay, its too good for that, theres not many left now
