There are always quite a few on eBay - expect to pay £90 - £110 for a brand new one.

Expect to pay upto £160 actually.

Cheapest new one I have ever had was £100 and that was a sale as they now sell them for £150.

Motorsport Developments will supply one and more than likely be willing to post abroad (if you are outside the uk) They trade on ebay and the owner Stewart Sanderson can be trusted.

Don't forget they come with no fittings

Just out of interest, at what point does a 044 pump become advantagous/necessary? Was thinking of getting one to replace the original KV (K-Jet) one I have been using up until now... Cheers

Some 044's from ebay have appeared not to be bosch units at all, but some chinese copies, so beware.

This is why I use Motorsport Developments as I know he would only sell genuine items.

As a ballpark figure I'd suggest anything north of 400bhp requires an upgraded fuel pump.

                        agreed.

the stock aby pump is good for 350 or so max. you did mention kjet though. most kjet are good for more than the aby. for example golf gti is good for 360 or so. maybe a little more.

I've removed your recently created duplicate thread, there is no need for two threads on the same subject title.

If you want to buy it complete ultimot.de has already been mentioned or 034.

You don't need a special basket you use the original http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5353

if you have an aby buy a 3b basket. pump then is more or less the same size.
