look into DSM forums and Honda forums in the US. loads of info there about power. on the I5 only Nervas used a holset on a custom made hotside modified K24 and stroker engine. Billman did the same on a HX40 with 56mm comp. wheel and made on 1.2 bar about 400hp crank(estimated measurement with the perfomance box).

Im going to be using a HXsuper40 (60/82 comp wheel). no results yet.

I read on the other thread that you have an Hx35w. IF you end up going with an Hx40 would you wanna sell your 35?

              yes, i was wrong,it is 60/84.

advantages? very good spool, very stongly built(as it is made for diesel trucks), easliy repairable anywhere, 360thrust bearing, and according to various dyno's i have come accross, spools as fast as a BB 3076R garrett and produces the same power as a GT35. That's good enough for me.

as i said, i will be tuning it the following weeks

whats the hotside on the hx40? always had this down as the weakness. maybe just presumption.

how much boost do you need to run to get into the efficiency of the unit.

hotside options are the original one, a K26 modified or the 0.70AR T3 one that i got from the US. Have no idea what it will do as far as spooling is concerned, but i have some input that it is much better than the original units on spooling time.

As for the boost required to get it going, all i have as info on the I5 is 1.3bar of boost making 400hp on a normal ADU engine on safe map.

depends on the 0.7 stages too.

mines a 0.63 stage 5. spools later than a stage 3. mines also known as t350

best to avoid the klu-klux-klan so im told.

id expect the same. i calculated 438hp at 1.3 bar on mine around 7k.
