Turbo charging my RE2500?

could I fit a 20v head to the engine? retaining the 2.5 stroke and my forged pistons?its high compression so no.
power is all about flow. the design of the head is not great. mounting the turbo and inlet on the same size has manifold and turbo implications.
ower delivery also suffers. 2v tends to generate on/off switch cars. combustion chamber design doesn't help with detonation.
id expect a mildly tuned 16v engines to be as good as the 2.5 RE engine for performance.C4 A6 AEL avant quattro: daily

yes, its done on motorgeek few times 10v bottom end and 7a head gets compression down for turboing. works because the 10v has dished pistons, you might need check for clearance on your setup make sure pistons and valves dont clash, but no reason why should.
you would also need either weld the head or block however block of part the oil return like on doing a diesel stroker, no big hassleComment

my engine is also bored out slightly so that the 2.5L isn't created entirely with a long stroke.yes, its done on motorgeek few times 10v bottom end and 7a head gets compression down for turboing. works because the 10v has dished pistons, you might need check for clearance on your setup make sure pistons and valves dont clash, but no reason why should.

Would it still be suitable?
Also, once the 7A head was fitted, would 20vt parts just bolt strait on? IM, EM, ECU, coilpacks etc?
or would I need expensive custom 7A turbo parts?C4 A6 AEL avant quattro: daily
