Hi Guys,
A new one to make my head scratch
Installed an AAN into a type 89 4 door saloon, I have removed all the aan components and fitted ABY stuff.
I have used an ABY loom and a non immob AAN ecu.
I have used a 7a flywheel and clutch and have replaced the cambelt, plugs etc.
When it is cranked the fuel pump relay is activated, the injectors fire and I have a spark.
But it will not run.
I have checked the timing pin location on both the 7a flywheel and the AAN flywheel.
For future referance there is 38 teeth between the (0) marker and the firing pin on both flywheels.
I have lined the cambelt up in the usual way and was also sad enough to count the teeth on the belt between the two pullies so am happy that the timing is correct.
When it cranks it sounds like it is a timing issue now and again it will pop and fart like it is trying.
Any idea's?
