its been one of days on the way home my cambelt snapped on my s2 (3b) was doing about 10 mph what in the likely hood of doing the valves/pistons etc my own fault should have changed it i know
Not good,i feel for you but look on the bright side,i doubt it's as bad as mine were when the crank sprocket went for a poo:
I bent 10,i was just about to dust someone in 3rd gear at about 4k rpm, they were so badly bent that the car wouldn't turn over,in fact i had to carefully knock them straight(er) before i could get the valve spring compressor to work and get them out
Just make sure you replace the crank sprocket aswell as the belt/tensioner
Good luck sorting it out
It's a love/hate relationship with the S2,i love it,it hates me
the S2 I had came with a snapped crank sprocket, took the head off. And there was no damage at all. Also know a guy that had the same with a 7A and also had zero damage
