IAT & ignition retard at wich temperature?

hi,

does anybody know at wich intake air temp (G42) temperature the MOTRONIC starts to retard the ignition??

cause I'll prove if dimensions of my intercooler are well matched...

It depends on software version and whether your tuner has changed it.

And if it's an ABY then it reduces boost with lower IAT so fitting a larger IC won't ahve quite the same effect as it will on a tuned, 3B or RS2

In ADU sw there is a clear step at slightly below 40C and after that only very few degrees is retarded. There is actually no temp threshold value for retardation but an intake temp correction map instead. Of course the value is also interpolated between each map point so it's about linear.
