CAM wobble or optical illusion

It's a cast camshaft that then gets ground on the journals and lobes. The journals and lobes will be 100% other than wear and tear. However the casting may potentially not run true for the simple fact it is a rough casting with irregularities. Not uncommon with machining from the early days. See it with flywheels aswell. You can clock them up 100% true on the lathe and then the minute you spin it up it visually looks like it is wobbling all over the place. Again all you are seeing is the irregularities in the casting.UrS6 Stroker + HTA3586 =
