Knock sensor wiring output?

I bought myself a KnockLite from TurboXS that I was planning to install.

However it has one wire to use for sensing on the bosch knock sensor. Anybody that has a wiring output for the knock sensor so I can see which one to use?

I was planning to make myself a Y-cable, but I need the part no. for a female and male 3 pin connector and the corresponding spade connectors. Also need a female and male 2 pin connector and also needs the grommets. Does anybody have an idea of where I can find the part no. in etka?

Ask your friend Kate to have a look in the "EL" specialty catalogue (near the bottom of the initial index list, she tells me). She selected 1993, MG9, SG71 and Illustration 970-20. Items 1 and 2 are very likely the 2 pin connector pair you want (443906232 = female housing with the metal bale; 8D0971946 = male pin carrier).

She then says if you page over to 970-40, Items 21 and 22 are likely the three pin pair you want (Female = 443906233, male = 443906247). Or so she says (check yourself)

As for the boots ("grommets" according to Kate), you need to look for your engine bay harness, e.g. A10Q, 1993, 9, 71, 971-52 for an UrS4 and you will find 443906102G seems to work for both 2 pin and 3 pin connectors. (But check for yourself).

At least, that is what she said.

Just a quick follow up on the knock sensor wiring, according to TurboXS you need a connection between the KnockLite's ground wire and the bosch sensor ground wire. But I cant really see why, I mean ground should be ground right?
