Got a new problem with the car, whenever I start it from cold the engine runs fine for about 1 minute (as if it is on choke) then as the revs drop the engine starts to stall by dropping about 500rpm then picking itself back up again just before it cuts out. As the engine gets warmer and near to operating temperature it stops and the engine runs prefectly. It was run on vagcom the only thing that showed up was the IAT valve which has since been replaced.
The person who tested it for me said it was throwing up dodgy readings, I checked what ohms it was kicking out when cool and hot etc and it was way out so I replaced it.
I blasted the ISV out with loads of carb cleaner until it was running clear then let it dry over night. All parts seem to be moving OK inside it. If I disconnect the ISV whilst the car is warming up it just starts to drop revs and eventually conks out. If I leave it connected it drops revs then picks back up again.
If it is the ISV valve surely it would not only happen when the car is cold?
Thats a good point, if the lambda is bad and the heating doesn't work properly the bad readings could cause this.. is it running fat?
What does the ecu do when disconnecting lambda? Or will this kill the lambda at once?

Just to eliminate the possibility of a problem, you might want to check the resistance of the G62 coolant temp sensor on the back of the head, as per this post:

Looks like it was the Lambda sensor, replaced this as well as the WGFV as this was way out of its range. Car is starting fine with a little bit of wobble on idle but it is that small you cant see it on the rev counter. I should imagine the plugs may be fouled due to the under/over fueling so I will fit a new set.
After fitting the new uprated N75 I have overcome a problem the car boosts up but when it gets to 4000rpm it as if the turbo stalls and all boost is lost. I should imagine that I have got a pipe loose or something.
