timing marks are spot on code reader says hall sensor mechanical failure where is the hall sensor? would that stop the fuel pump pressuring up to?

Hall sender G60 is at the dizzy on the 3b.
This and the one at the flywheel are the ones that will stop our engines.

unfortunately sounds like you've had what tonk's had at castle combe with the pin sheering off the flywheel, I hope not but he knows a way of testing for this involving a screwdriver and the sensor, hopefully he will be along in a minute to explain better than I can.

i have been over to give carl a dig out tonight. It's a bit me a strange one actually. There was an issue with the alarm not supplying the coil and injectors but we bypassed that. The haul sender on the dizzy is perfect. The fuel pump relay is pulling in but the ecu is not triggering the injectors to fire. I swapped out the ecu and the coil but no different. I did not take any spare sensors but it looks like the g28 is breaking down.

Did you check that the crank pulley hasn't moved.

How about ground connections on inlet manifold? And worth checking the 2 multi plugs at the back of the engine bay for corrosion
