Im sure i remember reading somewhere that ppl have used a diff bottom hose when removing the aux rad so that they can keep the original (expensive looking) hose that feeds it.
Im assuming Ben and Martyn would be the guru's who could supply a cost for such a hose as i like to keep things so they can be undone
Cheers guys.

Jamo, dont worry, there are plenty on the Forum who have run without the aux rad (inc me) for a long time ( including last years heat wave ). Go to your local plumber and buy two "22mm" brass/copper bungs - the ones with a solder collar. Access to the two lower bolts on the rad is awkward - but once its off..........car runs cooler. See the other threads. HTH James

Thanks
I was going to buy a 1" dump valve bung and i've order the above said pipe to replace the original one.
@S2avant: Are you talking about the T-shaped (ish...) bottom hose? I paid about £60 for that at a stealer and then didn't need it after all! And of course they wouldn't take it back either!
(Sorry for jumping in on this thread..)

Sorry to be a bit stupid but having read this, if you remove the aux rad...it will run cooler....this is useful...but are there any downfalls for doing this?.....
P.s does any1 know of a workshop manual floating around...or if not at least a photocopy...
cheers
