S2 compression what should it be?

Hi,

Had misfortunate incident, where my mechanik screwed up my engine, long storry. Anyway it was only the inletvalves that was damaged and i got my hole headgasket renovated on his account.

However, i have messured my compression ratio on eache cylinder and it is 9 on four of them and 10 on one of them. This is ofcourse in european meassuring. Anybody out there that can tell me what it should be? Iam a little scared that the pistons rings might haven been damaged to?

Those readings are all in spec (assuming you mean pressure in BAR). It shouldn't be anything to worry about but its nice if all cylinders show the same spec.

Well can't remember if it is BAR, did'nt make it myself. I currently on vacation in the US. But my dad have just gotten the car back and he says it runs where nice. But i will check up on what the meassure it in, he is taking it to an Audi dealer tomorrow, to let the test the compression ratio, will post the results when i get them.
