Today I decided to make a boost leak test kit and followed the following procedure,
Bunged Air intake on top of maf pipe,
Bunged Maf pipe to engine Breather
Put pressure into system though pipe between throttle body and intercooler
I must have quite a significant leak as i can build no pressure in the system, or I am doing it wrong.
The leak sounds like it is coming from the DV but I cannot see or feel any leak after I sprayed water on. Is there any chance that the divert
er valves body could be leaking to atmosphere?
