Yes, they are mapped "incorrectly". You will not get good running in all conditions with MAF on the pressure side.
If Minhea has motronic ECU assembly notes, I am sure he can use any MAF there. No need for the stock one.
the Ct355 i think is a bit more expensive than the 3076R, if you buy the 3BB option. Precision should be in between but if ordering from the US, you must think of customs.
How about a CT355 with A/R.82? Guess who gets one...

that i suppose should be more or less the same as the 3076. Wheels are a bit different, but then again if you take the excact company numbers for power production they are about equal. What you do to the engine has a lot to do with it, as we have seen 608hp on a 3076R turbo so anything is possible! again i shouldnt trust dyno numbers , but hey!
0.82 CT355 schould be boosting 200-300 RPM later as the 0.63 version IIRC from what Jyrki told me. So this means full boost around 3500-3600 RPM. Compared to the GT3076 0.82 that is quite a bit earlier spool.
What about these Garrett GT series with billet wheels? I thought they were an improvement over the standard versions?
which gear are you talking about Bram? 3d or above?
cause from the videos, i could see full boost on yours at about 3800-4000rpm,at least on 3d gear ( i checked a lot of times, which is why your youtube counter is high!!!hahah)
I had a good chat with Bram, thanx bram
A lot is clear to me now.
Not sure wich one im gonna take right now but have some time.
But the CT355.63 makes me curious on a standard head.
Also the ratio 0.82 looks insane to me :mischeif: maybe i had to say that the car is going to be used for 90% streetuse and 10% sprinting.
I understand that the ratio 0.63 is much better for streetuse now.
There is also a option to use the money that i not spend on the head to use for VEMS, That will fix the problem with the MAF also.

if the laptop is small enough and have some good internet usb connection, you can make it much more interesting!!! Small netbook fits everywhere as well! haha
vems is cheaper if you see it as a hobby. We have been posting up configs you can start with, but be prepared to spend a good few months playing around with it, and maybe less if you bring someone along to tune it for you. VEMS also gives you the alternative to change stuff more gradually on your car and make the changes on the map yourself.(that is if you learn what you are doing, read a book and online sources).
in that case Bram, the 3076R on 0.82AR is a bit slower than the CT355 0.63AR(of course with your reclocked ADU cams, which i dont know if they were done for more top end, and later spool or not),anyway, that means that a 3076R with 0.63AR should spool faster than the CT355 BUT will possibly not make 500hp that easily. Maybe a ported head will give you that, as JP has done on his.
