Can anyone lend me a ECU

Hi all, as some of you are aware my S2 (aby) is not well, in fact it hasnt run for over 2 weeks and im sure its a simple electrical gremlin thats causing it. Ive checked most things on the car, with a huge amount of long distance assistence from Paul (S2Central ), but am slowly running out of ideas and losing patience.

Ive checked sensor inputs to the ECU, but i dont have any way of checking its health other than trying it in somebody elses S2, or maybe trying theres (or a spare) in mines.

Im in Bordon, hampshire not far from alton basingstoke area... are there any forum members out there willing help me out and let me fault find this for a crate of beers/vodka/petrol money then i would appreciate it

By the way, i only just realised ive past the 1000 post mark

All this fault finding is boosting my count no end ..... maybe thats how i could succeed in getting over the 17k count

If you don't mind sorting out my fuel I should be able to get down with vagcom and an ecu to try

Thats a fantasic offer, of course i would cover your fuel cost, i just wish i had taken my ECU to ADI to test it out on a working S2
