I need to log it on vag-com.
Last I checked it was, but that was a while ago.

IAT sensor seems fine. Showed 4 degrees today when cold and progressively got hotter as the car idled.

      Funny thing though...
I had to undo my map richening changes after mapping the car saturday and sunday on the airfield. AFR seems to be bang on now, perhaps even a tad rich.
Of course it is quite possible that I developed a boost leak somewhere

      Going to leak test today.

A hose burst at the intercooler...
Replaced the hose, now AFR is back to 12.7 under boost

Actually that's not too high for about 1.1 bar boost, for which the stock software is made... but with 1.6 bar I get a lean spot, because load reaches the last column in the table, so I need to make it richer.

Going to remap it to 12.0-12.2 (because it's cold atm) and crank up the boost.

What would be very welcome, is if someone, who has a stock/chipped S2/S4/S6, would tell me how AFR's are under boost, without any leaks...
        Paul? *puppy eyes*

[QUOTE=prj;528791]I don't even have a factory oxygen sensor.
Plus, oxygen sensor is not used by M2.3.2 at WOT.

Mesuring to see if wideband GOD shows the same as MORTAL narrow(lean)
Or log with another wideband controller(not only sensor).
This exactly like hoses.I was SHURE that i have no boost leaks, because i had made the supreem test of pressurize. After visual inspection all 3 main hoses are cracked. Now boost is bach to 1.2 instead of 0.7.

          Glad you sort it out

Prj, afr on k24 should be less than 12, about 11.5 with over 1 bar boost due to egt.

Reading the thread helps. I have used two different controllers and two different sensors.

No, it should not be. At 11.5 you are starting to lose power, and it is not tuned this way from the factory.
It should be around 12 in cold weather, dipping to 11.7-11.8 in hot weather, and even then it's rich, as I understand, it runs 12.5-12.7 from the factory, but I need that confirmed.
This is only if you are running maximum boost you can get from the turbo... at stock boost levels it's no problem to run 13 AFR.

I'd like an AFR graph from a stock ABY/AAN though.

I don't have Paul's software, so it does not tell me a whole lot...
It's a bit too rich in the end. At 11.0 AFR you start losing so much power, that you can feel it with the butt-dyno Although you should not be going to 7000 rpm anyway with this small turbo.

But yeah, I can see that this software also runs around 12.7 when boost hits... same as mine with the stock fuel map.
The detonation probability is highest at peak torque though, so when boost hits, i'll make it a bit richer.

Oh well, that's all I've got as my stock car RR graph is with a boost leak created when the operator connected up their boost measuring pipe On your own to find a stock one.

                        Rusty, which gear is that?
Mine spools a lot faster, even in 2nd gear, but I have RS2 exhaust manifold.

I think it was 4th but it's not representitive of high load in say 6th gear where it spools to 21 PSI @ 2500 or so, it's a stock whistle afterall... I can't remember if we were playing with the dyno ramp rates at the time, that might explain it. The graph does show the boost drop off from a peak value of around 21 PSI /1.5 Bar, although this peak changes with temperature due to the ABY compensation routine - colder air = less boost so I'm getting about 18 PSI at present with the RS2 IC and <10degC damp air.

Regarding the spool... it's the manifold. I felt a large difference in boost coming on (~400 rpm) after swapping it.

Would be nice Paul did it on a newer version of the chip but the old chip ran better in the car and we never got round to sorting anything newer out. I was also hoping to get a map done for my 2.2 bar WG spring and a bit more zip up top too.

2.2 bar spring is too stiff for the stock turbo.
1.8 bar is the most you should use to avoid fireballing it at 7000 rpm.

But that's getting offtopic. I would still love an AFR graph
