The graph seems to show a mapping that tries to maximize the turbo performance with a very agressive medium response. At high rmps I am sure that the turbo can't feed enough air. In fact, your values at 5500 rpm are more or less the same than the ones in Jonas_R's and Newsh's graphs. The difference is that before that your car is giving the maximum power that the RS2 turbo can offer.
In fact, with that amount of torque and the short gear ratios you have, if you used stock wheels I am quite sure you would make slip all four of them.
I am glad the turbo works fine and that you seem to have solved all your previous boost problems.
Do not press the pedal too hard or you will break something

it seems that both ecu setups are very agressive like the rally cars, called like full boost yes or yes
in second gear if press WOT with car in a curve the car loses traction

does someone knows if the RS2 turbo can be used with 1.8 or 2.0bar at the redline with a correct maping??
ans if is it reliable of course....
with for example a turbosmart ebost2 we can change something of my both ecu setups for less boost in the begining and more later in higher revs??RED Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI TME nº 16 of 250

Rocco, you need to learn how to read a compressor map
As the engine spins faster it eats more air. At 6,000 RPM it will eat twice as much air as it does at 3,000 RPM.
So at the redline to maintain the same boost the turbo has to blow twice as hard as it does in the midrange. So to blow 2Bar at redline you need a much bigger turbo! (of course you need to be able to move all that air through the engine so you need more efficient inlet/ IC/ IM/ cams/ EM/ exhaust etc...) If you make your engine more efficient you will get more power without neccessarily needing more boost. I bet that big torque lump you have is very exciting to drive, sudden big lumps of power feel great, a big push in the back often feels faster than a linear power delivery even if its higher! An engine feels most powerful when the power is increasing rapidly! I sometimes think my RS2 setup felt stronger than the GT3071 because of that big push in the back at 3.5 - 4k RPM.Comment

i understand you
and what do you think about the dyno results with my 2 kind of 3b to rs2 step????
how we can do it better,?? with less boost ??
hope to install in my car the soon as possible my RS2 IC,but we will see....because i have not the ABY hoses and the x MEMBER....

The GT30 is faster but the RS2 was more "exciting" ;-) Do you want to be fastest or do you want it to be fun? (when I'm driving on my own its exciting one and when I get alongside a Porsche or Maserati its fastest
The IC will help, you can use the same cross member and make a bracket to hold it, my RS2 IC was on my 3B crossmember, you can make the hoses work too IIRC.Comment

Oh yes, I would use the one with less torque as you are getting near the theoretical limit of the rods at 600nM at such low RPMs. Then I would fit the IC. are you getting plenty of cold air to the air filter?Comment

I have to agree with John here - My GT3071R coupe was mental. The speedo just climbed at a staggering rate, it was still pulling about 1.8bar above 7,000rpm if i remember correctly. But the torque was not as high, it felt like a more linear power delivery. It was great for destroying sports cars :mischeif:
In the RS2 the push is harder when it comes on boost, it's more old-skool with more lag that the BB turbo, and it feels natural to drive it in the torque band rather than hold on for all that top-end power that the GT30 had.
I fitted a RS2 IC to my 3B by cutting back the samco hose a little and having a bracket made up that bolted to the cross member, as the RS2 mounting holes are a litle wider apart and at an angle.AUDI - saving Dad's from minivans since 1994

the 3071R runs out of juice at about 5500-6000 at most with the 0.63AR from old logs on my setup(ADU cams). Still better than the rs2 turbo and i used to get 600+ nm of torque, so not much different in pull. It also has to do with mapping. If you map to give 2.5bar on the 3071 on fast spool, if your pistons and engine can take it(as the turbo sure can) you can get it to give more torque than the rs2 turbo. I used to have 2.1bar overboost and 1.75-1.85 to the red line, but the torque curve was going down pretty fast after 5000rpmish
3076 though a whole different story!Comment

thanks friends¡¡
so the gt30´s are able to use with 1.8bar on 7000rpm
,but with less torque than RS2 turbo.
maybe in a race track the RS2 turbo is it better for use if the curves are very closed true??
i am having fun, very fun with 391cv and 644nm with a short gearbox
where is the limit of the orignal connecting rods ??
