I have k26/k27 hybrid turbo. At this time it has inducer 47 and exducer 81mm in cold side. I am thinking to fit impeller with 59mm inducer and 83mm exducer on it. A/R is not very big. So could I hope that new impeller give more effects on it than the current?

What is your hotside like? If you are using a K26 #6, consider using a K26 #8 at the same time as fitting the comp wheel upgrade...
I think you would even benefit from it right now...
81mm is pretty big. The 83mm should be enough for 600hp easily.
What kind of turbine wheel have you got on it ? Does not sound like a standard K26/K27 to me.Comment

hot side exhaust diameter is 55mm, so I think it is k26 8side. I don't know from where is current cold side impeller because it was on my turbo when I bought it. I think that inducer is to small and trim is very low. So I found impeller which could fit on k27 cold side from gt90 as I mentioned 59/83 with 7mm shaft sizeLast edited by ACQ; 3 December 2012, 19:29.Comment
