the ones youve ordered from the other side of the pond dont come with the connector though do they? you have to splice them into the origional connector? and its the origional connector I have managed to ****** up! or do they come with the connector?
The ones from BB Automacao, the one's that I highlighted in the G40 replacement DIY I pointed you to (my previous post), do not come with the connector end. I have also pointed you directly at the PN for the replacement connector but you seem to have missed that. In your case, based on your approach to replacing your clutch pressure plate, you need to remove your engine from the car and install a 034905161 camshaft position (Hall) sensor, Item 10 in this diagram:

very funny, ill tell you what, put a poll up asking who would replace the pressure plate by removing the engine, or removing the gearbox, ill bet more people would rather remove the engine than the box

Twice because that's how many times I've renewed my pressure plate and engine out is the only real option if you haven't got a lift to get the car up in the air. Support the engine and roll the rest of the car away from it is the way to go!
