Because your statement makes no sense whatsoever.
0.2 bar fuel pressure has such a minimal effect on injector latency and fuel delivery, that this for sure is not the reason for the 3.8 bar fpr.
Considering the ECU can run and idle perfectly on 440cc injectors with 4 bar FPR, that's not it either.

If you tune your car with adjustable FPR's then that is not the way Porsche had to tune the car when they had access to all the calibration data for Motronic.

Are you sure that isn't 516 at the end, not 616? When I poked around yesterday, the original Audi 534A regulator was a 516 Bosch and the later Audi 534C was a Bosch 0280160517.

well that is the number i get, but i can not confirme that it is right (i will when/if i will buy one unit)

Many Porsche models use this FPR too so i guess it should be right one. Perhaps could one who has rs2 FPR confirm bosch part number
          Price is 55e

My only notion for porsche using 3.8bar versus 4bar from audi is that porsche use that on other vehicles of the day - this is just their baseline fuel pressure they use by default I assume.

Info I have on 7A engine is deffo 4bar - I will have to scan proof from ofrm.

The 3B and 7A fpr are the same physical package so that 7a makes nice upgrade in 3B fuel rail when software or hardware preferences require it

The AAN, ABY & ADU devices are the same package. There is a Bosch motorsport 5bar device in that same package as well. Big pressure isn't always better though - makes big demands on the fuel pump to flow the same amount of fuel at higher pressure.
