put it everywhere, no need to worry to much about where not to put it. Its perfect for packing an oil pump with to make sure you get good suction for the initial start.

Yep blinding stuff, it's all I use as a lot of engines don't get started for over 6mnths to a year once they have left the workshop due to being fitted to long term projects in the making. Stuff is soooo sticky only thing that gets it of surfaces is brake clutch cleaner or dissolve it in oil. Took an engine apart once that had never run after 3yrs for a quick inspection as the guy wanted to sell it on due to loss of work. It was mint inside like the day it was put together. Just don't lube the rings up as your engine will smoke for ever. Instead you lube up the bores and the piston side skirt and install the piston with the rings dry using a dedicated bore sleeve.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Torco-MPZ-engi...b#ht_839wt_907
Torco Assembly Lube- built hundreds of engines with it- great stuff, super sticky, will stay in place for ages.
Waited for a crank bolt from Maserati in Italy for the V8 Khamsin for 6 months!!! Lube was still where i put it!!
