I am not sure the push fit goodridge hose will work for you? You may be better with a standard 3/4 - 19mm tube fitting on the tank as I am not sure how the goodridge hose will fit to the fumoto?
If the Fumoto had a threaded nipple/insert then it would be easier.
OK, had a search, the 536 hose you would want is -12 which is 3/4" ID.
So for the tank... you would want a 1/4NPT to -12JIC = I think AN816-07 then this
Then your hose to fumoto, but you probably want a 90 elbow there?
If you dont want a fumoto, you could always use 306-12-M24 with this if your sump plug is 24x1.5?
Or you could use the above 24 metric to -12 Jic, then AN938-12 'T' and a AN971-12 as your sump plug with a AN815-12 and another one of these
I will try find links to the part numbers, but i found them in here
i already have the fumoto,so i might as well use it.
from below the tank, i have to have a 90deg bend, as the tank will go quite close to the downpipe if it doesnt bend. The idea would be to use the adaptor+ goodridge push on fitting from the tank, then samco oil hose all the way down to the fumoto, with a final 90deg bend samco hose and a clip @ the fumoto.
Ahh I understand now, I thought you wanted an elbow at the sump end, your car is LHD right? So your catch tank is where a RHD brack cylinder is? Makes sense.
Will Samco hose be OK for the heat above the exhaust?
That NPT to JIC will not fit to the elbow... JIC is a hydraulic fitting, the male is the other end of the NPT nipple (right in picture) and the female is in the Nut on the elbow in your link, so they both have to be -12JIC as the -12JIC elbow is the one with the 19mm hose fitting. JIC - or AN (Army Navy) are measured in -2 to -32. Each measurement is a factor of 1/16th of an inch, ie, -12AN = 12x 1/16s, or 12/16 = 3/4". They also only go up (or down really!) in 2s, so -2, -4, -6...
I would get a 1/4NPT male to 1/2NPT female (straight nipple or 90 elbow) and then one of these with your hose adaptor above.
I must get onto Rusty to see what my drain will be or if I can choose it!
Edit: 1/4NPT to -12JIC = I think AN816-07 is available on the Goodridge catalogue... Not looked to see where you can buy. Strangely I see that site offeres 'odd' numbered JICs (JIC is the industrial AN)...
I will have a think on the best way to do it for you, and also for me. It is the 1/4"NPT that is screwing things up! going from 1/4" to 3/4" is not easy in one piece!
maybe i could modify the tank? open a thread up, to make it bigger? that would also help with the drain perhaps?
I will ask Rob as well, im booked in on Tuesday (that is unless he kills me after all these things i have already asked him to do for me...!!)
i kind of think that the best thing would be to open that hole a bit more, as the oil that needs to be drained will already be thick and the bigger the hole, the easier the drain...
1/4NPT Male to AN (JIC) Male - AN816-10-04 D HERE
-10 AN Female to -10 AN Female Elbow - CPL9110 - HERE Note this is not the correct image!
-10 AN to -12 AN Male/Male - 919-12-10 - HERE
-12 AN (JIC) Female to push fit hose connector - HERE
Then you need your hose to the Fumoto. If your tank had a 1/2 NPT it would be much easier!

If there is room, I would maybe get Rob (GT500 I assume?) to either drill and tap to 3/8 or 1/2 NPT or weld a new nipple in.
As per your PM, a banjo would not give enough flow I don“t think, they use tiny holes!
The way I have suggested above is a fairly tight bend but you could use...
1/4 NPT x -8 AN Elbow - AN822-07 with
-8 AN - -8 AN Female/Female straight CPL-08
-8 AN Male to -12 AN Male - AN919-19
OR
1/4NPT x -6 AN Elbow - AN822-06 with
-6 AN - -6 AN Female/Female straight CPL-06
-6 AN Male to -12 AN Male - AN919-18
Both of these do exactly the same, there are only two options listed as you may find it easier to find the fitting for one option over the other. Both use THIS from above post. This will give you a much tighter radii
The downside of this option VS the previous post is it is much harder to get the correct orientation of the nipple.
Do like epic on previous page. Drill a hole and weld a AN12 bung on the oil pan. Use a AN12 90 degree hose for the connection. I would perhaps go this way...

thanks for all that. Ill see with Rob (yes GT500) what would be the best option to do. I think ill have the sump welded in at some point in the future, but now, i dont want to have to get sump gaskets, and stuff to be done. I need an easy solution, and as the fumoto has been tried and tested, its the best way to go.
If i can get Rob to make the hole bigger on the tank, that would help a lot, so it may be the way to go.
