I think my fuel pump just died.

Started the avant just now, it ran for about 30secs and then died, cranking over but not firing, checked ECU fuses both good (I'd just changed ECUs so immediatle suspected I'd done something..). Pulled the top off the fuel pump relay and pushed the contacts together, no sound of pump. Tried cranking and relay pulls in but no sound of pump.
There's no "aftermarket wiring" left in the car

Dead fuel pump then?

Which 2 wires out of the 4 in the back do I meter to make sure its powering up?

The two thick ones,the thinner wires are for the sender.

Top tip!

Its a bit of a nuisance as I've lent the ur to a mate and the coupe needs a throttle cable and an MOT.. I'll just have to ride motorbikes!

If it's true that your pump will die...I have my original pump here

Definitely dead, I get a solid 12v at the connector but the pump is silent

Need an uprated pump, either RS2 or 044 motorsport pump.
