    Carbon Canister Removal Help

I have decided to remove my carbon canister as the one that is in the car is damaged and the car has been building up quite a lot of pressure in the tank, guessing there is either a blockage in one of the pipes or the solonoid is not venting the fumes correctly.

The idea is to vent off the fumes though the rear bumper like others have done but I am unsure which pipe it is to modify, I am guessing its one with the one way valve but just need to make sure.

Also would I need to put I need to put a one way valve on the end of the pipe for safety reasons? I was thinking a low pressure non reture fuel check valve for the job.

In the interest of what remains of the environment, I highly recommend repairing the factory system and NOT venting raw fuel vapours into the atmosphere.

Question around pressure, noticed my car when the tank is 1/4 - nearly empty i remove the fuel filler cap and there's an obvious pressure build up.

Is this normal to get a hissing as the pressure escapes ?

On my 3B coupe there's vacuum, so you hear the air rushing in when you open the cap. On the Avant nothing.

Montez, I need to sort this on my coupe as the carbon can has been gone for a while and the pipe is just cut near the fuel filter underneath.

Newsh do you know if the pipe I have highlighted in the picture is the fuel tank breather which eventually links up with the carbon canister?
