    water rail - 3b

Can anyone confirm the o-ring part number for the 3b water rail? I seem to remeber qty is 3 but one of mine is torn or something as its leaking down the side of the block

I guess I should be thankful I found it now rather on the way to Le Mans next month

                        You past the worst then...

I would use a squidge of blue hylomar gasket or similar as belt n braces for the o-rings

                            just to update...

Drained down the coolant and pulled out the radiator/ac unit to get best acces to clean up and also reach everything i needed.

Pulled out the rail and basically the 3 o-rings i used when i refurbed everything about 3years ago had gone brittle and broken causing the leak on the 3 entry points. From memory I think I used Halford's ones from a huge box of different sizes.

Now replaced with OEM ones (thanks Paul) and a fresh larger gasket on the centre entry point.

Gave the radiator and a/c condensor a blast with the hoover - amazing how much rubbish comes out the fins and bought some decent flush to see if i can remove any scale/calcium inside the radiator.

Now just need to refit everything and fill and flush.

It's a lot of time to get decent access in there - a right pita but looks like good progress.
