    Thanks, Mark.

P.S. Your car looks like new!
Thanks for the compliment Mark, the car has sat around for most of it's life and only covered 22k miles. It has been polished now and again though The ISV was missing and it took me years to find one....

I'd drill and tap the one you have. the rear bolt hole would have to have a spacer to make up the gap if you look at the photos you should be able to see the difference. WAB the king was breaking an early one and may have a manifold. Try sending him a PM.

@Martin, The brakes are half fitted but I'm too busy to finish them as I'm trying to earn money as I'm buying a house. It has a 20 foot by 12 foot garage and space to build lots more There is space for Gregs model car http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4266 and a vegetable Patch so Sarah can have something to eat! ( Vegetarian!)

The tubular manifold was fitted as standard to all the early 20v's be it 2wd or quattro, superseeded in the early 90's by the cast one due to the cost. UK cars were all rated at 170bhp from Audi the american versions were 164bhp. The tubular manifold helps get rid of the big gap at about 3.5k, that coupled with a chip, induction kit, and exhaust (including getting rid of the cat) results in a little over 200bhp on a good engine, (cant remember what torque figures i had on mine). Added bonus with the tubular manifold is the lambda screws into the downpipe so getting rid of the cat is made far easier. Beautiful bit of engineering, ive got two spare kits for converting from cast to tubular (heatshields, manifold and downpipe) if anyones interested. Also breaking complete g-reg 20v coupe.
      Nice one
