S6 oilcooler into ABY S2 Estate...?

Are they the same item? Or compatible as a straight swap? Only I've got an S6 AAN one here.

Edit.... Also got a Ur quattro turbo one here, don't suppose that's the same either is it?

Not the same. UrS6 = 034117021B which is common to the turbo C3 (Type 44), 200 Vt (3B) and C4 UrS4/S6 but not into the smaller B3/B4. Furthermore, my friend Kate tells me that for an S2 the 3B oil cooler (PN 113117021X) is different than the ABY oil cooler (PN 034117021D). She says the ducting is different too. That said, the ABY and AAN coolers *might* be close. (3B looks like something altogether different). You would have to have them side by side to figure it out for sure.

Thanks bud, it's hard to tell without a full stripdown of all three items, and as the S2 goes to work most days it's a bit inconclusive at the moment...

I'll pull the Ur oilcooler out of the garage this week and have a 'guesstimate' with the S2's in situe... The S6 one is on the Rally car, so I'd involve a 3 way swap.

It's a laugh, isn't it...
