As the topic says... I have an ABY with RS2 stuffs and around 350 hp. I have a temperature sensor in the exhaust housing of the turbo and at max load I get just under 900 degrees Celsius in it. I have always thought this was to much and I have been super worried about it but today I was told it's probably OK. I thought I should check here what you guys say. Should I worry or not?

Before turbo 950celsius after turbo 850 celsius are usually my main two marker points. Before turbo is more accurate as not having to account for heatloss in turbo exhaust housing. But is always a small risk of the tip dropping of and going through the turbo although usually they just melt away.UrS6 Stroker + HTA3586 =

Does it mean, if EGT sensor is in down pipe, gas temperature in exhaust manifold (before turbo) should be considered ~100°C more?Comment

thanks guys. you all just made my day, week and month.
I was just out for a little ride and no matter how hard I push it it doesn't go above 900 so now I can finally sleep at night.
