Water Injection noozle specs and placement

    Hi,

i am about to install a WI system and i would like to know what nozzle to use and where to place it. I was thinking at the second to last curvature of the pipes next to the cam pulley.

    I bought the 400cc/min nozzle.

Recommended place is the exit of the IC but that's only really going to work on a car with reverse IM. I think that placement on the L shaped hose, near where the hose that comes up from the XM would be best; I think that's what you have described above

You're looking at between 10 and 20% of the fuel flow as a rule. Obviously, fuel flow is not linear, so if you can graph it and run a sequential system, then you're better off. This is where MAF signal triggered systems do well.

it is going to be operated with a simple pressure switch.

I wanna resurrect this because I have 4 Devils Own and one Snowperformance nozzles here on my table... 100cc 250cc 440cc 630cc...

... I would appreciate, if some people are willing to uncover which nozzle size you are using in your application... thx

I found some data here, but 0.4, 0.5 or 1.0 tells me nothing

          Fit dual 630cc.
          You want about 1000-1200cc flow.

you have to calculate first your injectors maximun flow.then add +10/25% depending of your water/meth % mixture.

so if your injector flow is for example 500cc and you are using 50%/50% mixture you could use as a rule 500 + 20% = 600cc , then shoud be your cc flow capacity of your aquamist jets.

about jets location, the far as possible of the thottle body and after the IC. if you are willing to use more than 1 jet then fit them separatelly between 3" to 8"

this is just an example but it is easy to understand

I learned it in aquamist forum .

And you can read it in the hfs3 manual

Pretty much everything is wrong, because all that info assumes that you can not tune your ECU to take advantage of the water/meth.
