Oil cooler adapter removal from oil cooler pipes....

Quite a hard one to explain really, but I've removed the oil cooler from the S2 ABY, and the male/male adapters (if that is the right description) have unscrewed from the oil cooler rather than the oil cooler pipe... Now as we stand, the pipes are still attached to the car and I can't shift the adapters off the oil cooler pipes to fit the new adapters (different size oil cooler bore diameter) so I can fit a bigger oilcooler.

Any thoughts as to how to get these pesky things out the end of the oil cooler pipes without going bezerk...?

Just done mine and the same has happened. All i done was to heat the nut up with the gas and they come undone but were tight all the way

I had a similar problem. In the end I used an open end spanner and a cordless impact wrench with a long socket on the end if that makes sense

Undo the hoses at the car end, then you can get them in a vice and remove the adaptors?
