Replaced the oil cooler today

The old one was cream-crackered.
(many thanks Dan/CoupeWannabeS2, for the oil cooler pipes)...

Used a local hydraulic specialist to supply the adapters to the S2 pipes.

All plumbed in and running well.

Sorted out the Mark H Mod on the intercooler

And changed the alternator belt... Finally, had a go at flooding everything in waxoil...
Then...
Took it for a run and it went very well indeed, no oil leaks, no boost leaks either, which has clearly a novelty, because it's ripped off an exhaust rubber and it's now knocking.

Oh well....

Tightened up another of the mounts (the doughnut type) with a Jubilee Clip and the tendency to 'knock' is a lot less, but it's still there... So I'll tighten up the rest of the mounts with Jubilee clips tomorrow... But I have a horrible feeling the original exhaust is finally failing. Especially the rear silencer, where I could break bits off the side seams....
The build quality really isn't there is it?... I mean, it's only 18 years old?.
