Ok John, well if it ends up being no use to you then you can still return it like i said.

    Good luck.

Newsh, have you tried swapping stock N75s from your Avant to Coupé?
I'm just wondering if your Coupé's N75 has a leak or something, that may cause higher boost levels.

Or maybe it was mapped with a faulty valve and now that your trying working ones the boost profiles are all wrong..

(this has happened to someone else)

Er, you hit the nail on the head exactly Mr Squirrel

I took the new-ish N75 that I removed from the avant yesterday and put it on the coupe, the boost is now about 1.8 Bar and better controlled, still more than the Mac valve though. Bo, I'm pretty sure this is now the actual valve the car was mapped on) The old N75 that was on there must have been the leaky one that I took off the avant ages ago (actually I did have a couple of overboost moments on it..)

Still not sure why the Mac valve doesn't give the same boost as the N75 but the difference is less.

It actually feels like it did when Mihnea mapped it now but spooling quicker and harder due to the Wagner manifolds and IC.

          Its really flying

It's good that things have improved, Newsh. Strange the valves are still acting differently.

I've got one of Bo's Mac valves too, due to the odd problem of leaky Bosch N75's. I've not got around to using it yet though. I could bung it on one of the 1.8T's I suppose.
