    034 coil kit fitting

    Hi

fitting an 034 HO coil kit. not sure which plug goes to which.

ive removed the two POS and have some plugs need connecting.

I have the two four pin plugs to go somewhere. one has 4 x pins in it and the other has two but the original plugs have 4x pins (brown) and 3x pins (black).

anyone know what goes to what?

    Thanks in advance
    Ant

Its an 034 product - never fitted one myself - you should contact them for support. Seems odd that the loom isn't plug and play.

DIdnt see driftinjos post there - well found - makes sense if they are avoiding the common wire on the 4-pin plugs

it is kind of. just me being a little lazy and not working out the wiring.

I thought the obvious thing to do was 3 pin goes to the two pin and the four to the four. Just being cautious as last time i took a gamble with electrics it cost me big time.

          Thanks for the link.

I have lived it in my meats.... best solution? Put a direct fire coils, they are cheap, good enough and easy to buy a replacement whem you are in hurry.

i got similar ones from EFIexpress for a cheaper price. As for replacement parts, the actual coils are dead cheap(and i already have a full set of 5 replacements), the cables are more expensive and i have 2 of those.

                            havent missed a beat yet

A new coil from 034ms is 72$ that is not to bad, the new 2.5TFSI coils from audi is around 30€. So almost the same.

I have had mine for 3 years now and no problems what so ever.
