HI guys i've removed my 3b flywheel for lightening and balancing and would like to know what can be removed weight wise and is there any problems with running afterwards. Also i need to send him an old crank for a driver for balancing other than the 3b crank what else will bolt on to mine.
The quesion is why do you want to lighten a 3b flywheel? the 3B flywheel is the perfect weight for revving and driveability, it can lose a few kg but then you could have idle issues and stalling of acceleration etc.
So what your saying is leave well alone it could give me more problems if i lighten it . I just thought when i have the gearbox out it would be a idea.
Its not going to be a track car not yet anyway standard engine with homefries and 3" exhaust.so really theres no advantage lightening it .Thanks for the info
