    flywheel lightening

HI guys i've removed my 3b flywheel for lightening and balancing and would like to know what can be removed weight wise and is there any problems with running afterwards. Also i need to send him an old crank for a driver for balancing other than the 3b crank what else will bolt on to mine.

The quesion is why do you want to lighten a 3b flywheel? the 3B flywheel is the perfect weight for revving and driveability, it can lose a few kg but then you could have idle issues and stalling of acceleration etc.

Personally I wouldn't just have the flywheel skimmed to make it true faced. Ubless the car is going to be track car or something like that

If the car is purely for the road, then I say stick with stock 3B weight. If you do a lot of city driving, go for dual mass.

I very rarely drive in town or traffic, and got hooked on track and strip, so lightweight all the way for me.
