    wastegate frequency valve infomation

im wondering if anyone has any info on the wgfv (N75)

ive got a 944 turbo porsche that has a wgfv, and of course the s2's use them, all the 1.8t VAG cars etc but i see there are different variations of this valve

the porsche one looks completely different, still had 3 hose connections and a 2 pin electircal connection and the 1.8T boys talk about J, H valve (is this just a later revision) whats the difference?

my question i guess is, can i use a S2 N75 valve on my Porsche? the reason i ask is that the valve on mine is suspected to be faulty (ive only got WG spring boost) so i want to know if i can try out a spare s2 one ?

the differences between them is the plug location....facing the hose connections...and the location off the small metal lip wich fix the valve to the intake hose...

Look here... and connect the s2 valve with the same hoses as the Porsche...

They may be interchangeable but they have different response times/characteristics. One of the VW forums did a dyno test with the various versions but i cant find it at the moment.

K and H are similar except the H version has the plug turned 90 degrees, fitted to ur S4/S6, K version was fitted to S2/RS2. J i think was the 3B version. Only other i have seen is an F from a 225 TT, looks the same as S2 valve but black instead of brown.
