New RS2 MAF - where to buy?

I found hundreds of threads about the RS2 MAF vs S2 MAF but nothing about where to buy it from! I'm going to try GSF for a quote, no ideas where else to try other than Audi. I was kinda hoping to get one for less than £150, seems they are more like £250

My old one still works, so I can drive the car on it, just the load range on idle -> MAX is 25 -> 160 where as with a new one fitted it was 20 -> 190.

    Any recent experiences?

TPS, Audi or local bosch dealer, GSF etc dont sell them. Quattro Corner might you'd have to ask Pete

I'll ask for prices on both, see which is cheapest and go with that. Any links or contacts to a Bosch dealer?

I now know the capabilities of my car and I can't live without the ability to drive it hard for long... the stealer is calling

So... 198 exchange from ECP for an S2 MAF, 283 for either MAF from Audi, and according to Bosch themselves the part is NLA

I've mailed Pete and will see what comes back from a refurbishment place I mailed earlier...

Looks lke 200 quid is about the best deal on the table

Thanks Mouse, mailed that place this morning to see if they can help, no answer on phone.

My only hope is that S2 MAFs are not NLA too - ECP is looking to be my best bet, they do have stock on next-day, but I am supposed to return an S2 MAF in it's place... wonder if they'd notice :mischeif:

Otherwise it's going to have to be Stealer if I want to stick with the authentic RS2 part...

Could always see if you can get someone to donate a dead maf for the exchange part!
Must be a few with the wire ripped out which are useless!

Must say Dmitri's MAF solution would have seemed worth considering if it was applicable to the RS2. We are certaintly going to experience problems with like for like replacements as the cars used relatively model specific components rather than generic ones.

If these MAF's really go NLA, there will be a plug and play solution with a HFM5 for the price of the stock MAF.
