Had the same problem about 5 months ago. New 324 solved it.Cheers, Torben

Thanks for the help folks. Got some interesting pictures and resistance readings to post when in front of the comp. I nicked one out the spare S2 but will need a 324 to replace it if anyone has one?
Cheers again forum dudes, another problem solved!Comment

No, the engine did!
I think I checked the relay in the main fusebox though, you know what like - when you read something and by the time you get out to the car from the computer and half a dozen folk have spoken to you - you forget the exact thing you are looking for! I never realised there was relay 324 in the aux position, I just found that one that stopped the fan and assumed it was the one you mentioned - it's a similar number, as it has three numbers in it!
On top of this issue, the brand new Thremostat I fitted from Audi was a dud - so had to change that again yesterday. It only JUST opened a tiny bit whilst sitting in a pan of boiling water.
All looking good now so barring fitting the electric seat loom from Kufatec, its all up and running again. Hoping to get those trims looked at today or tomorrow if you want them sent down to replicate.Comment

I can relate to that.
I have read and read about H&R's 29909's Bilsteins and Konis - and sagging Avant rears.. Very easy to get confused. Not adding to clarity - Bilstein PE3-3086 are listed as B8's on some sites. And Bilstein have new numbers for the same dampers as well.
I hope I got it right - the order is placed.
Glad you got your problem solved
Cheers, Torben

I am going to post this in my project thread - but for fullness of this thread...
I tested a known good Relay number 324 with the following results.

This is with -ve to Pin 87a and +ve to Pin 30. Note this is MEGA Ohms - i.e. open circuit essentially.

This is with the probes of the meter switched - giving open circuit.
Then I tested the suspected bad Relay:

Again, -ve to Pin 87a and +ve to 30, showing ~16KOhm.

Leads switched - Showing ~10KOhm.
10 - 15 K Ohm may seem a lot, but it is definitely not open circuit!Comment
