    BOV or no? Pics please!

Going to install VEMS now with the new bigger turbo++, and im wondering to move the BOV over to the IM side. I was thinking of getting the Tial 50mm BOV..
I do not have the MAF anymore as i have VEMS, but I would like to hear the experiences the user here have with this setup, using a 50mm Tial BOV or similar.

    Please post your setup

Why do you want to move it to that side?

There is two trains of thought

for option 2 it is said that you expel hot air not air that has had the time to be cooled by the intercooler at point 2 and prevents surge better.

The counter arguement is that at point 1 it reacts quicker closer to the throttle and that on vacuum it can act as an air feed overcoming the restriction of the turbo and IC meaning a faster reacting engine.

Personally I don't think either method is wrong so pays your money takes your choice

Vent between turbo and intercooler preferrably.

I ran a GFB adjustable valve for a bit. You can adjust it in discrete steps between full recirculating and full vent so stealth, very loud or anything in the middle. You can also get different vent ports to tune the noise . Very sturdy piece of kit and the best of both worlds.

Not so excited about getting the most "wosj" noise, but more of reducing pipes and keeping it more clean.
