got to the pcv valve today, and as i removed it and inspected it i noticed the T, has a crack in it (what defects may this cause?)

and my pcv valve once removed (for some reason didnt seem like it has the ball in it, maybe upon removal it fell out but gave it a shake felt a little movement, however once completely out i didnt see or feel any ball in it, is it possible it came out ? or must have be upon removal?)

i also noticed that the pcv valve housing (where it sits inside) had some oil resdue inside it, yet the top of it where the T is didnt really see any oil there (any ideas from this?)...

It's not a ball valve, so don't worry about it.

It is possible that a failed T or a failed PCV valve and a cracked T can lead to a boost leak, for example. As for the "ball" it might be stuck = hence your problem OR it could be a needle valve (as shown below) but that should still shake when removed.

very true i must agree with you, i am going to order a new PCV valve. Also while im at it i will order a new Pressure Control Valve, (just to make sure that isnt the case either)

          - also does anyone know the part number to the T (cant seem to find it in the diagram, refers to a different page and i cant get to that)

-and the flame deflector....what's the pro's and con's with this in? is it necessary to have in, or is it better out?

If you read down further in my PCV system post, you would have seen the diagram that was referred to (see below). You need Item 1. As for the flame arrestor, I would just retreive it from the pipe/hose it lives in and wash it in solvent and reinstall.

One of the symptoms of the cracked T hose is crappy/weak idle.

I doubt that your system would be approved by the Danish Miljøministeriet.
