there is a lot of ways to get 500+hp
clutch - use SACHS performance - ebay
    pistons can stay stock
rods take from forum member Aromatic2 , I use his rods on 4 engines and they are perfect.
for other things talk with other forum members.
what kind of flywheel do you have ?

      It's a mb gear box 5 speed and not a s4 6 speed .
And I think it would be a standard clutch from the mb engine .
      If that helps .

I once worked out that if you were to build it yourself you'd spend around £5000-5500 in the uk.

Aelred is going to build my engine but he is not going to start it until July when the car comes out of storage but I wanted to make a head start on getting the bits together and to know what bits I need.
as I think 500hp is abit tame and might go for 600hp if it will still drive nice .

I'd say a lot of money has been used for not much result in that thread with the 3071 turbo.
For the same money he could have built a 700 hp car, would've made no difference at all to the cost, as he already did all the parts.

                          Realistically...
GT30R with 0.82 hotside, head job, manifolds, cooler, fuel and a remap.
That will give you a STABLE 500+. EGT's will stay nice as well.

Full boost by 4100 rpm in 3rd also...

                          BTDT.

500 is no way tame and also not easy to drive,
it wont drive nice at either VERY laggy
